Genevieve Melton-Meaux, MD, PhD

Dr. Genevieve Melton-Meaux is the McKnight Presidential Endowed Professor of Surgery, Senior Associate Dean for Health Informatics and Data Science, and Core Faculty in the Institute for Health Informatics at the University of Minnesota Medical School. At M Health Fairview, Dr. Melton-Meaux is the Chief Health Informatics and AI Officer, leading enterprise informatics and AI initiatives advancing digital health transformation.

Krystal Hosch, MPH, CHES

Krystal Hosch supports a range of health services research studies of the Center for Learning Health System Sciences. She is responsible for the management of assigned research projects and interfaces and coordinates work with IT, clinical, and academic stakeholders.

Leopold Arko, MD

Dr. Arko is a clinical informatics fellow at the University of Minnesota and a pediatric neurosurgeon specializing in hydrocephalus and cerebrovascular disorders. His research interests include the integration of AI into healthcare systems and optimization of clinical workflows to improve patient outcomes. Dr. Arko is dedicated to advancing patient care through innovative technologies and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Miranda Considine

Dr. Considine is a general surgery resident at the University of Minnesota. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Iowa, then completed a post-baccalaureate program at Northwestern University before pursuing her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Midwestern University in Illinois. Her clinical interests include interdisciplinary care and colorectal surgery. Her role on MN-AIR focuses on qualitative data collection and analysis.

Dori Cross, PhD

Dr. Dori Cross's research advances understanding of, and seeks solutions to, the complex management challenges that impede the digital transformation of health care organizations. Her conceptual and empirical research contributions identify the underlying sociotechnical challenges that impede technology-supported teamwork, and offer novel policy and practice insights to address these challenges.

Maida Ismail

Maida is a Computer Science student interested in the intersection of healthcare and AI. She is currently an undergraduate research assistant with MN-AIR, where she supports projects involving AI in healthcare.

Anna Schulte, MPH

Anna partners with research teams to conduct health outcomes research, including contributing to study design and implementation, qualitative data collection, data analysis, and dissemination. Her role on MN-AIR is qualitative data collection and analysis.

Meron Hunde

Meron is a Public Health student interested in healthcare policy, administration, and maternal and child health. She is currently an undergraduate research assistant with MN-AIR, where she contributes to research exploring the role of AI in healthcare.

Dr. Debbie Pestka is a pharmacist and learning health systems researcher. She holds a joint appointment with the University of Minnesota in the Department of Surgery and Center for Learning Health System Sciences, as well as the Center for Care Delivery and Outcomes Research at the Minneapolis VA.
